In 2011 The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) introduces The Leukemia Cup Regatta to the Hudson River in collaboration with Hudson River Yacht Racing Association (HRYRA). The six member clubs of HRYRA are:
· Chelsea Yacht Club, Chelsea NY
· Hudson Cove Yacht Club, West Haverstraw, NY
· Kingston Sailing Club, Kingston, NY
· Minisceongo Yacht Club, Stony Point, NY
· Nyack Boat Club, Nyack, NY
· Shattemuc Yacht Club, Ossining, NY
The Leukemia Cup Regatta is a thrilling series of sailing events which combines the joy of boating with the important task of raising money to fight leukemia, lymphoma and other blood cancers. Each sailor in the Regatta series is eligible to win prizes, including the opportunity to sail in New York Harbor with Gary Jobson the weekend of October 14-16, 2011.
However if you want to help fundraise without sailing you can. Click on the register button below and follow the link to the non-sailing fundraiser registration form. Once completed we will create your fundraising website for you.

The evening party will start at 6:30pm at The Hudson Cove Yacht Club. TICKETS CAN BE BOUGHT THROUGH THE REGISTRATION LINK ABOVE.
BOAT SLIPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR SATURDAY NIGHT AT A DISCOUNTED RATE OF $25.00 FOR THOSE GUESTS WANTING TO STAY AT HAVERSTRAW MARINA AFTER THE PARTY. SLIPS CAN BE PURCHASED WHEN REGISTERING OR THROUGH THE PARTY TICKET LINK.

1. All races scheduled for August 27 have been postponed to September 17.
2. The Sailing Instructions will be available by September 16 (see below). The cruising class splits will be included in the cruising class Sailing Instructions.

3. For the Cruising Class races at Haverstraw, the splits for the various subclasses are as follows:
Class A: Spinnaker, phrf less than 130
Class B: Spinnaker, phrf greater than 130
Class C: Non-spin, phrf less than 181
Class D: Non-spin, phrf greater than 181
There are no non-phrf Classes.
