Welcome to the 2013 Leukemia Cup Regatta (LCR) presented by Sun Trust Bank. This year marks the 21st Anniversary of this important event that will be kicked off by our fabulous Summer & Gala Auction hosted by Annapolis Yacht Club on Friday May 31st, followed by the LCR , Predicted Log Race & J80 Luncheon and Fun Race with our 2013 Honored Hero Skippers (local survivors and patients) hosted by Eastport Yacht Club on Saturday, June 1st, with an exciting post race awards party and entertainment held at EYC to follow.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Leukemia Cup Regatta is a thrilling series of events that combines the joy of boating with the important task of raising money to cure cancer. Since its inception, The Leukemia Cup Regatta has raised millions of dollars for lifesaving research and patient services, bringing help and hope to patients and their families. It all started right here in Annapolis and now is held at events held at yacht clubs across North America. Skippers register their boats and recruit friends and colleagues to help crew and to raise funds. Crew members seek donations from friends, family, co-workers and employers to sponsor their boat. National and local event sponsors also support Regatta.
Cures today. Not someday. That's the goal. We are on the threshold of amazing breakthroughs. Your money accelerates miraculous new treatments and healing therapies once thought impossible. And with our co-pay and insurance assistance, many patients can now afford the medication they need.
