Welcome to the Illinois Leukemia Cup Regatta
When sailors participate in The Leukemia Cup Regatta, they raise valuable funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to invest in research to find cures for blood cancers - leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma - and to help improve the lives of patients and families.
The 16th Annual Illinois Leukemia Cup Regatta will take place August 24 & 25, 2012 in Chicago at Columbia Yacht Club.
Most people have been touched by cancer. This is how sailors give back.
Raise Funds:
As you raise a sail you can help fight leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma by raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Throughout the spring and summer, captains, crew and non-sailors alike are encouraged to join in the fight to eradicate blood cancer. By reaching out to your friends and family you can help fund life-saving blood cancer research.
Fundraising is easy and doesn't need to be time consuming. Each participant will receive a comprehensive fundraising packet filled with incentives, event ideas and sample letters. We'll also help you set up your very own online fundraising website. Fundraising online is one of the easiest and quickest ways to make an impact. Top fundraisers can qualify for great prizes while making an impact in the lives of those affected by blood cancer.
