Participants in The Leukemia Cup Regatta sail in honor of a local patient whose bravery in fighting blood cancer provides inspiration and motivation.
The Honored Patient for the Georgia chapter is Madison, a leukemia survivor.
Madison was diagnosed with ALL in January of 2010. She is in the maintenance phase of her treatment. Her birthday was December 15, and she shares that birthday with her twin sister Jaci. She is 5 years old. Her favorite color is purple. She loves anything princess, her favorite movie is Strawberry Shortcake and she loves playing with her puppy!
