The 2010 Leukemia Cup Series...
is gearing up for this year's Leukemia Cup Regatta - Presented by Comcast, on Saturday, August 28, 2010, in partnership with Duck Island Yacht Club, North Cove Yacht Club and Brewer Pilots Point Marina. Registration for this important fundraising campaign, and great race, opens soon. Join sailors from across Connecticut to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Boats (including CR-914 model racers) sail and raise funds in honor of local blood cancer survivors. LLS provides all the materials necessary to help participants raise funds and awareness for the crucial fight against blood cancers.
2010- Leukemia Cup Kick Off Weekend a Success!!
Thank you Sailors and Boaters! We have 20 boats registered to race! There are also many individual fundraisers signed up who are raising funds to support blood cancer patients right here in Connecticut.

Registration Now until August 19 at 5pm = $36.00* per boat

*There will be $5.00 fee added to registration costs for non-US Sailing Association members.
Pilots Point Marina (PPM) will offer slips to racers at $25.00 per night for Friday (August 27) and Saturday (August 28) nights. PPM will be donating these transient slip fees to LLS. Please call PPM at 860.399.7906 for dockage. Additionally, some space may be available at Duck Island Yacht Club (DIYC) on a first come first serve basis. A limited number of transient town moorings are available for boats under 32ft LOA in the Patchogue River and boats may tie up to the town bulkhead at the end of Hammock Rd. South. Pilots Point Marina will also be running a launch service for boats anchored inside the Duck Island breakwater.
