For the past 13 years, the Arizona Yacht Club (AYC) and the Arizona Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society have opened the national Leukemia Cup Regatta calendar on the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend, pairing it with the AYC's long-running Birthday Regatta. By taking to the waters of Lake Pleasant, Regatta sailors have raised more than $530,000 to fight blood cancers.

Thank you to all who participated in the 2013 Leukemia Cup Regatta on January 19 at Lake Pleasant. Although the on-the water race is now over, sailors can continue to compete by raising funds to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Sailors can raise funds through November to qualify for the chance to sail with world-renowned sailor and ESPN commentator Gary Jobson, National Regatta Chairman, at the 2013 Fantasy Sail in Captiva, Florida!
